Artist's Statement for the Exhibition:
"Whether at the Studio at the Opera House or in other venues I sit in the dim light generally alone recording my "notes" while enjoying the music.
My son plays Saxaphone, consequently I know some of the Musicians and their audience, this adds a more intense dimension to my "note" taking.
My pen, pencil or charcoal take up the rhythm of the music and the movement of the people dancing, I hope this mood translates into my sketchs".

Artist"s Statement for the Exhibition:
" The beautiful sandstone tunnels and the declining ruin of the timber wharf remind us of our own fragile existance. The renovations and new initiatives transform this once gritty, dirty and polluted site into an interesting, sustainable and historical journey into the future. My three panels reference some, but not all of these elements. An artist's haven."
