I have not cropped this painting as yet, but have very roughly placed it in the different frames to see which looked best. I prefer the one to the right which is a black frame with a black outline round the painting. I have not quite finished this one but wanted to check a frame for it.
I am not even sure you want this one as it does look more abstract.

​These are some quick preliminary sketches for the painting of the farm at Wyalong. I do need some images of a shed or homestead which would anchor the painting to a particular place.
What size are you thinking of?
I would be painting in oil on stretched linen. If you could send me some dimensions of the size you would like, it would help me and that also helps with pricing the work. The top sketch is the one I may enter into an exhibition.  It may not be accepted but that is all about the game of being an artist. I will let you know how it goes.
Once I start on the actual work we can talk about  a deposit. If that is OK with you.
